Job Description:

A full-service, leading international law firm, is seeking an Assistant to the Office Administrator who, with minimal supervision, provides administrative support to the Office Administrator and assists/supports managers, lawyers and staff as needed. Maintains positive contact with lawyers, managers and staff in the San Francisco and Palo Alto offices, while preserving confidentiality of personnel and Firm matters. Essential responsibilities will include assisting with administrative functions, database management, recruiting, hiring, and staffing, employee relations, and special projects. This is a full-time, non-exempt position, resident in the firm’s San Francisco office.  

The firm is looking for someone who can train to eventually become an office manager.  The person must be proactive, know how to handle difficult situations, has excellent follow-through, is articulate, excellent customer service skills and a desire to be in management in the future.  The person must also have a four-year degree.
