Job Description:

This position is responsible for assisting the Client Relations Manager in handling marketing efforts for the Palo Alto and San Francisco offices of global law firm. This role provides support for event coordination, client entertainment, ticket distribution, client teams, contributions and assorted business development projects. The person in this position should be a self-starter with a can-do attitude and an ability to convey confidence to senior attorneys.  A polished, experienced manner in dealing with fellow professionals is required. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with excellent benefits, resident in the Palo Alto office. Travel to the San Francisco office and surrounding area to assist with events and meetings will be required as needed.

Job Requirements:

Must have a bachelor’s degree. One to three years of previous marketing, public relations or communication experience is required, and law firm experience is preferred. Skills of critical importance include: excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior organization and attention to detail, ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with lawyers and staff at all levels, ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and ability to maintain confidentiality of all information. Strong computer and word processing skills (MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel) are required, as well as the ability to learn software essential to the job.
