Job Description:

Silicon Valley office of international law firm is searching for an office manager.   Will be responsible for the business management of the office and implementation of the business aspects of these operations.  Functional areas of responsibility include oversight of human resources, payroll, accounting and information technology services.  The Office Manager will have direct responsibility for secretarial management, operations, library, records management and security.  The Office Manager must support a community of lawyers and staff in addressing time-sensitive client needs and ongoing firm management systems.  It is critical for the Office Manager to be a proactive leader ensuring that the administrative and personnel infrastructure is running effectively and that ongoing investments are being made to ensure continued stable and reliable office performance.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of five years of related experience in a complex organization (preferably with experience in the legal industry or professional services organization) as a manager. In-depth human resource experience in overseeing all aspects of personnel management including oversight of payroll. Extensive experience in developing and motivating managers and staff. Demonstrated experience in administering budgets and controls. Proven experience in working with senior-level attorneys or professionals and in balancing competing priorities in a time sensitive environment.
